Hugo Rivera –
I love this bike. When you step on the pedal, it immediately goes to the rear wheel and you start to roll. I am a 200 lbs sprinter and it rides smooth over chip & seal roads. I ride all over San Diego, and its the best bike I have ever ridden in terms of stiffness/comfort. The bike is pure quality and being from Ca, I’m very proud that it was made by a guy that has beaten Keith Bontrager in a race. No noodle!
Chris Kelly –
thanks for the kind review Hugo, although i must disclaim – the only race i remember being in with Keith was the Bike Magazine “icebreaker” celebrity race at Eurobike in 1997 where, yeah, i guess i did crash him into the wall on the hole shot (accidentally) and so i did end up winning the heat… i should add we were racing 10″ wheel kids bikes and everyone was drinking a lot of beer…. Keith was, and still is a real good sport.
thanks again. -CK

My favorite bikes for almost twenty years, I raced cylocross starting in 1965 in Belmont state park long island long before there were sanctioned races on the east coast. I just did a hundred miles this weekend on my knobby X and its still as much fun to ride as when it was new .

In the years of ownership the only sign is the decals. The ride remains the absolute best steel ride made, the paint is flawless. Always said I would buy another but can’t kill this one!
